You may have been in therapy for years or maybe you’ve never tried it. Regardless of where you are in your journey, I want to meet you where you’re at. I will move at your speed and provide you with the type of care that you feel most comfortable with. This might mean helping you create and meet goals. It could mean teaching you skills to reduce your symptoms of anxiety. It might just mean giving you a shoulder to cry on.
As a Registered Psychotherapist and Certified Perinatal Mental Health Professional, I have training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Trauma-Informed Therapy and have experience treating a wide range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, Postpartum Depression, and PTSD. As a mother of two young children, I also have a strong interest in maternal mental health, and specialize in prenatal and postnatal care. I have provided psychotherapy and administered psychological assessments in a variety of settings including Women’s College Hospital, a woman’s shelter, and private clinics. I am also leading an ongoing support group for Moms with Perinatal Mental Health Disorders with Postpartum Support International.
More importantly, I am both an approachable and devoted practitioner. I believe that everyone has the ability within themselves to fulfill their potential. Sometimes they just need a little help along the way.
